Botched hat turned into a bag!

My first attempt at crocheting a hat went slightly awry and so I continued to create a bag for my wee niece Alix.

Rocket ship with astronaut and aliens

Haven’t created a backing for it yet.

I found a great tutorial on you tube and that’s how I learnt to do basket weave stitch. “How to do basket weave stitch?”  is the name of the video.

Tea cosy

Bit of a gamble but not completed yet. I am making this for my eldest sister who lives in Spain with her family and my mum and dad. 😦
