I got the inspiration for the colourful stripes from the blog I love buttons by emma. She has shared her pattern for a really cute giraffe but my niece Alix wanted a dog. Take a look, her blog is awesome. Just busy making a tiger for my other niece Emily.
I created this hat using a pattern from the awesome blog Repeat Crafter Me.
This horse was completely made up without a pattern so I cannot even begin to explain how I got to the final result.

I found a great tutorial on you tube and that’s how I learnt to do basket weave stitch. “How to do basket weave stitch?” is the name of the video.
Bit of a gamble but not completed yet. I am making this for my eldest sister who lives in Spain with her family and my mum and dad. 😦
