Here is my first attempt at making a rag rug, let me know what you think because i think it looks quite a mess, my OCD won’t let me just accept it as it is!
Any tips on what I am doing wrong?

DIY with Tatties!
Been doing some redecorating, my conservatory was looking a little bland so I decided to paint the main wall and stamp leaves on it using a potato as a stamp. I also tried my hand at carpentry, the piece of wood fixed to wall says Welcome Home and I did this with a hammer and chisel. I hope my dearly departed grandfather would be impressed although his craftsmanship would have been far superior if he was still around. I screwed some picture hooks underneath the plank so that it would be a useful key hook. Now all I need is a rag rug which I will show you in my next post but I am not too sure about it.
Yoda hat, I made this for my friends wee boy’s birthday which is today.
A kindle cover for my younger sister who is an avid Game of Thrones fan.
Finally finished the murals for my little girls bedroom.
Finished this yesterday for my sister. I made it with 100% cotton yarn, I love working with it but it is so expensive.
Lampshade pattern
This is amazing!
This gorgeous beast is an idea from a sillymoo. That’s what she calls herself. I’m not being mean :P. This is so cheery and happy, but I’m tempted to make goth themed one in black. You could make them pretty much any size you want and in any theme.
LOVE!
Wee tiger!
Book of the week “Oh Dear Silvia”
I have just started to read a novel by Dawn French called Oh Dear Silvia. I chose it because it is my mothers name and I fancied a funny read. Although the main character is nothing like my mother the book is still awesome and pretty funny in a dark, twisted sort of way. For those of you who don’t know Dawn French, she is a British comedian who has done many sketches from French & Saunders to The Vicar of Dibley. Pick it up soon, you won’t be disappointed!
