Here is my first attempt at making a rag rug, let me know what you think because i think it looks quite a mess, my OCD won’t let me just accept it as it is!
Any tips on what I am doing wrong?

I love your knitting, I cannot get my head round it! My mother has had several failed attempts at trying to teach me but we have come to a mutual agreement that I best stick to crochet lol
Thank you! 🙂 I had many failed attempts, it wasn’t easy. I can very clearly recall throwing, not tossing, my first attempt at the wall. It took a few weeks of perseverance and a very big ah-ha moment to grasp the concept.
I really like it, I love the idea of a granny square as a rag rug! And the colours work well together. x

Maybe try a bigger hook. My mum has been making a rag rug for me using a 10mm hook and it looks really good. Yours is good for a first attempt.
Hi, thanks. I have been using a 10mm but I think that I have not cut the material too even. Oh well it will do, it’s lots of fun though. 🙂
