Welcome to my blog!

Hello there,
My name is Ash and I am a 27 year old stay at home mum, I live in the highlands of Scotland. Throughout my pregnancy I was plagued with problems and to top it off, nearing birth I was diagnosed with OCD. The purpose of this blog is to share my crocheting projects and to also reach out to people suffering from OCD. Crochet has definitely been a help and focuses my overactive imagination onto something creative rather than ruminating on my obsessive thoughts. I hope people who do not have the condition will also follow my blog and share with me some of their crocheting passions and trials of motherhood.

  1. Could you PLEASE write a short e-mail to me, so I can post it on my blog, where I have asked my friends how instrumental crochet was to their recovery and helps them over come. I am not sure a comment will post for all to see. but here is the blog post I had in mind. http://patternstriedandtrue.org/2013/06/09/i-ask-my-wonderful-friends-to-tell-my-why-crochet-is-healthy-for-them/

You know what: You are extraordinary in your creativity. I am sure God will use your OCD as a blessing one day even in YOUR life.
Don’t get me started on motherhood! i am a grand ma of almost 9. Someone else will be born in Nov, December, 3rd child of my youngest daughter.
    Much love to you.
